Christmas 2011: Karaoke + St. James Amusement Park + Shabu Way Restaurant
Hey, how was Christmas?
Mine was..

First off, me and my family celebrated it the way we like it: karaokeee. And oh, watch neighbors light up fireworks and firecrackers I, have no name for.

We sounded like firecrackers ourselves. Anyway, we had a little Noche Buena with gran-gran and gramps somewhere in the middle. I slept early that night (or, morning) unfortunately.
In the morning, we went to Church to thank for a Christmas with a happy family. Later in the afternoon, we all went to check out the St. James Amusement Park.
Unfortunately, none of us took a picture of the place, and apparently other people too because I couldn’t find any on Google. It was been set up across Cebu International Convention Center and Parkmall, days before Christmas, and the bottled water of the food stalls are solely sponsored by St. James… bottled water.
According to the article I read, the park will be built permanently depending on the response of the market. If it succeeds, it will become the first amusement park in Cebu. Yey!
The entrance fee costs Php150 and you will be given 3 tokens for that. One token is for entry and the other two is for one ride. We first tried the The Black Pearl ride, which is like the Anchors Away at Enchanted Kingdom. I didn’t get the chance to ride the one at Enchanted Kingdom. We sat at the back most seats and it was WAAAYYYYLLLLLDDDD. That’s it.

Me, my sisters and cousins lining up for Le Black Pearl. I also thought about this, only, there is no roller coaster:

We tried the Flying Fiesta-esque ride next. There are other things to do too: there are bump cars and a movie marathon area. And there is also a ride that I don’t know yet. They only have 3 major rides. There are food stalls on the side like Shawarma and Monster Franks. It’s quite fun there, actually.
Wait, I make them sound lame. Haha. But really, it’s for family and it’s fun!
After we finished the two rides, Mom suggested for us to try the cook-for-yourself restaurant at Parkmall named Shabu Way. Chopsticks.

It was bad that I already ate one Monster Franks sandwich so I couldn’t finish my Chicken Teriyaki. Also, after dinner, some of us went at Parkmall’s little bazaar and I finally found the jeans-looking leggings I have been looking forrrrr. Does anyone know where to find a bunch of them?
So that’s how my Christmas day was spent. Last year was more fun, but spending it with family and good food (haha) is a blessing. \m/
